Chuppah for reform

If you had to imagine a bride bubbling with excitement, that would be Louise.
If you had to imagine a teflon groom, that would be Pete.
If you had to imagine the perfect match between selflessness and love of life, look no further.

Louise and Pete are true blue: both work in rescue organizations, so helping others is their daily reality. But when it came time to focus on their own wedding, Louise revealed her keen sense of detail and immense enthusiasm for planning their Jewish Blessing in Italy.

Reformist Jewish Celebrants are hard to come by, in fact they brought their own. The Italian Garden setting was intimate and romantic and an olive grove striped Chianti hillside provided the backdrop to their Chuppah.

The Villa hosting them and all their guests was the main mansion on a wine and olive oil producing estate where some members of the originally British family still lived. Villa stays are like living in the enchanted forest: the houses are furnished with many of the original period pieces, there's always a very large dining area for meals and a fireplace in the living room creates a relaxed atmosphere for sipping a glass of Chianti or after-dinner grappa.

Professional caterers provide everything for the reception party inside or outside: tables and tableware, covered chairs, buffet tables, fridges and fryers - an incredible mobile restaurant with all the personnel including chefs, waiters, maitres, and clean up squad. The highlight of this reception party was a special treat: the real-time assembly of the Italian Wedding Cake - artwork in the making! The Chef came out with a bowl full of chantilly cream, a platter of layers upon layers of flaky pastry, plus chocolate chips and strawberries, and then proceeded to spread, sculpt and sprinkle this amazing Opera d'Arte.

Music played till the wee hours - this is another great thing about renting out an entire Villa. If it is in a remote location with no close neighbors, curfews are set by the occupants and parties can go on all night.

The only service which My Weddings & More did NOT provide for this wedding was the photographer - and unfortunately it took them a year to finally get their pictures!

Chuppah for reform, Kudos
